About Us
Nestled deep in the hills in the heart of Italy is Casalvieri, a small town that’s been the home of Gemar® and the Rocca family for more than 4 generations.
The Rocca family is still at the heart of Gemar® and has the support of a dedicated team. They continue to manufacture the world famous “Italian balloon” in over 100 different shapes, sizes and brilliant colours. Today GEMAR is among the world’s largest manufacturers of natural latex balloons and have positioned themselves as the undisputed industry leaders in Europe.
Gemar UK, founded in January 2023 by Genesio Rocca, Gloria Veta, John-Paul Banbury, Mark Drury and Richard Turnbull, enhances the distribution of Gemar balloons in the UK. Supporting UK distributors and retailers from a central hub in Aldridge with plentiful stock Gemar UK provides a quick, efficient and seamless supply along with professional balloon education, events and customer support.
