About Sue Bowler: Sue's journey with balloons began in 1990, sparking a passion that has grown ever since!
Sue Bowler
She started her career with a small, home-based balloon delivery and decorating business, rapidly honing her skills as a balloon artist. Her dedication took her to new heights when she achieved her Certified Balloon Artist (CBA) designation. She also became a regular at industry events like the International Balloon Arts Convention (IBAC) and participated in numerous competitions.
Sue later became a freelance industry educator for Pioneer Balloon Company (Qualatex) sharing her expertise with balloon artists worldwide. She has been the author of The Very Best Balloon Blog since 2011, with over 3.3m views, a platform she has used to inspire and inform the balloon community worldwide. Our Christmas Balloon Décor Day, hosted at Datta’s Wholesale, offers a fun and festive atmosphere with plenty of space to create large, eye-catching displays. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned balloon pro, this day is perfect for all skill levels!
The day is divided into two sessions:
Morning Session: 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Each group will explore both classic and organic balloon décor techniques, with plenty of opportunities to add your own creative flair to the designs. This is your chance to learn, practice, and take home valuable skills not just for the Christmas season but for all occasions!
Not only will you get hands-on experience, but you can also use this time to photograph your creations for your portfolio and film content for your Christmas social media. Plus, it's a fantastic opportunity to network and collaborate with other balloon professionals.
