Our product mix comprises 4 key categories: Party, Dress Up, Latex Balloons and Foil Balloons, and in addition to our own branded products, Amscan are also proud distributors of Anagram Balloons, Snazaroo and Sempertex. Our assortment covers every event imaginable and includes both everyday products as well as seasonal lines for all annual occasions, including Halloween, Carnival, Book Week, and Christmas.
In addition to this Amscan has an impressive licensing portfolio, featuring properties by leading licensors including Disney, Universal, Paramount, Hasbro, Mattel and Warner Bros. With over 80 in total across all four product categories!
We’re also leading the way in sustainability and continue to provide the same existing products, together with our commitment to a more sustainable future! Taking accountability and ownership where possible, through all areas of our vertically integrated company, we’re putting our corporate responsibility at the front line of thought when designing, manufacturing and distributing our portfolio.
Therefore, we are pleased to have partnered with sustainability consultancy Climate Partner and have several offset projects planned in areas where we manufacture our products in order to give back to local communities.
You’ll also find a growing range of both our products and packaging have migrated to be sustainably sourced, and compostable too.
Amscan are also members of the European Party and Balloon Council (EBPC) and as part of their educational “Don’t let go” campaign, this symbol features on all of our foil and latex packaging.
In addition to this, all of our latex balloons are made of natural latex also known as caoutchouc. This natural and renewable raw material is obtained from rubber trees, which do a great job at filtering CO2 from the air, in turn, helping us reduce pollution, they are also home to many birds, insects, and animals, they are not hurt during the extraction process! Our latex balloons are made without using any fillers, extenders, plasticizers or any cost reducing agents and have excellent helium and air retention. They also fulfil the highest safety and quality standards, not to mention we prioritize air filled solutions vs. helium, which means that the balloons are less likely to float away and end up in the environment.
In 2021, we also introduced a foil collection program with Terracycle to ensure easy and convenient collection and recycling of both our foil balloons and banner products!
