How to make a Flat-Pack Christmas Tree

Designing with balloons offers a variety of techniques, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. By considering these factors, we can strategically choose the most suitable technique for the decor we're envisioning or the space we're working in.

Simple Step-by-Step recipe to create the Christmas Tree

The Flat-Pack technique, although not commonly used, falls under the category of Classic Balloon Decor. This techniques uses balloons that are sized accurately to achieve a flawless appearance. One notable advantage of this style is its flat nature, making it ideal for spaces with limited depth, such as shop windows or narrow rooms.

In the photos below, you can see a front and sideways view of the same Christmas Tree created using the Flat-Pack technique. The tree, with only one balloon's depth, makes it well-suited for various spatial constraints.

I would like to thank Lynda Webb from Bloon Away Boston in Boston, UK. Lynda attended a training session where I demonstrated the Flat-Pack technique and was so inspired with it that she started to play! I saw Lynda create a number of different designs using a variety of columns, and then she used the columns to create trees! I asked Linda to make some Christmas Trees for the BAPIA Funday - Christmas with Qualatex and they were a huge success! Lynda asked me to write this post so that we could share the recipe with others!
