We also have our own risk assessment in place and have taken the following precautions to be able to restart our classes on the 20th March 2021.
(for full details of Covid compliance please see the bottom of the page) in this class we will work together to create a jungle themed room: centre pieces, room decor, organic decor, creative animal designs and more.. the perfect course to boost your portfolio. COVID COMPLIANCE
The large area we use within the venue is deep cleaned before and after each class to ensure the area is sanitised.
The Hall used can accommodate up to 250 people but with Covid Guidelines in place we will have no more than 12 people in the room (Max 10 students and 2 Tutors)
Each student is given a large table to work at with at least 2 metres between each table.
Students are encouraged to stay at their own desks for the majority of the designs taught
Sanitizer Stations are situated at the entrance to our room and within the venue at various points.
Hand washing facilities are available.
All equipment is sanitized before class and numbered so each student has their own set of equipment to use within class.
Where larger equipment is shared it is spray sanitised between each use by our tutors.
Windows in the venue are open at all times to allow fresh air to circulate.
When signing up for class students are asked to agree to the following:
To notify us if they have any of the main Covid symptoms: New Cough, Temperature, Loss of Smell or Taste
To notify us if they have been requested to isolate or have been in contact with anyone with covid in the past ten days.
Not to attend if they are unwell in any way - class will be rebooked for them when they are fit to attend.
All students will have their temperatures checked on arrival using a digital thermometer and if raised will be re tested after 10 minutes and then if no change to the normal range will be asked to leave the venue and attend on a new date.
All students (unless medically exempt with a current certificate, will be expected to wear a face covering throughout the class (unless the government has advised we are no longer required to ask this)
Bottled Water & Hot Drinks will be provided (in disposable cups) but students are asked to provide their own snacks throughout the day to avoid any cross contamination.
Course Notes are provided as an online resource.
